Good quality and useful for its purpose
Just what I needed. I had an umbilical hernia surgery and this binder has been very useful for my recovery.The whole binder divided by panels allows flexibility while keeps in place the needed support. Velcro is very strong but bendable so you can sit without feeling stiff.The additional belt for extra support is very useful for when I go for my recovery walks.The material is good. I use a 100% cotton t-shirt between the binder and my skin so that way I don’t need to wash it as often and I avoid any possible skin irritation since I’m sensitive to some materials.I found it true to size.

More Than a Postpartum Band — Incredible Back and Hip Support
I purchased two of these belly bands to help support my back during recovery.I have tried many different back supports over the years, but most were uncomfortable and did not fit my needs. Although this product is designed as a postpartum belly band, I found that it works extremely well as a comfortable and supportive back brace.Because I have both upper and lower back injuries, I purchased a second band in the next size up to better accommodate my upper body. The support these bands provide is amazing, but what truly makes them stand out is the built-in support strap you can slip your hand through. This feature helps ensure the band attaches evenly from top to bottom, making it much easier to position correctly.I also really appreciate the additional compression strap. It allows me to customize the level of support exactly where I need it most. I can add extra compression to my upper back as well as around my hip area for additional stability and comfort.My daughter recently visited and tried one on because she has been dealing with lower back pain from sitting at a desk all day. She noticed relief almost immediately and plans to purchase one for herself.These bands are flexible, lightweight, and extremely comfortable. I often wear both of them while sleeping, and they do not disturb my sleep at all. In fact, I sleep more comfortably because of the added support they provide for my upper and lower back throughout the night.

Comfortable
I bought this first as XXL and again later as XL after I had abdominoplasty surgery. Large (waist) band is very comfortable. The thinner band works well, but I needed a bit more support over my waist and lower abdomen. The Velcro quality is good, and holds well. However, the Waist band Velcro will open a bit at the bottom when you go to sit down. You and others can hear the Velcro open up. I have other brand abdominal bands I had to use the first few weeks after surgery that were uncomfortable and had to wear a shirt under them. Now I use those other bands on top of this product Waist band so I get the support I need and the comfort.

Abdominal surgery in your future? Postpartum? This is the binder you have been looking for. It is better quality than the $5,000 one the hospital will send you home with and, as a bonus, it’s not a color that immediately looks dirty. It can be wrapped multiple times to fit someone very small or not for someone larger. The Velcro is NASA strength and makes a very satisfying sound when you pull it open. With a moderate amount of finesse, a person can put it on without assistance. As far as comfort goes, it’s got a lot of texture to it (for structural reasons) so it’s far more comfortable if you wear a thin garment between the binder and your skin. Doing so will also keep it cleaner for longer. Seems to hold up fine in the washing machine + air drying. Just remember to close it so the government strength Velcro doesn’t wreck other items in the wash.

Velcro doesn’t hold.
This binder has a very poor excuse for velcro and will come undone by moving or simply taking a deep breath. I do not recommend this item.

Good support and comfortable but Velcro not great
This was my favorite for a minute. I love the width as I need support from top to bottom due to a huge hernia. It’s a firm but comfortable support for when I’m more active such as at the gym. The problem is that it very quickly is losing effectiveness with the Velcro.

Nice and comfortable. I use for post op tummy tuck and it is most comfortable for sleeping in. The material has quite a bit of give to it, so a little difficult to get tight enough for accurate compression, and the width is a bit big for me so it digs in underneath my breasts which might not be a big deal if I did not have incisions there too. Overall pretty good as an option to rotate through. I also use lipo foam under it giving a nice smooth compression. Wondering if a smaller size option would work better.
