Ease of mind while ttc
I love my tempdrop. When i started measuring my BBT with a thermometer, I was always worried I’d forget or it wouldn’t be accurate because I’d wake up around four to use the restroom. That’s not the case with tempdrop. It did take me a week or so to get used to it being around my arm but now it feels like second nature. I have PCOS and it has allowed me to confirm that I’m not ovulating. So at least that’s a step in the right direction.

Perfect for my lifestyle
I noticed there aren’t many reviews yet for this, so I thought I would leave one. I really like it. Ive done Inito and other monitors before and the test strips are so expensive. So far this is maybe a little bit more up front but you don’t have to buy any test strips. It is very easy to use. The app offers additional features you can pay for such as charting and sleep tracking but it’s only about $5 a month.. not pricey at all (again it’s optional).I don’t have to worry about getting up at the same time or anything just put the arm band on and turn it on and go to sleep. No bugs or issues so far. I have endometriosis and Hashimoto’s and struggled with infertility for some time. I decided I didn’t want anymore stress… the easier the better and hopefully this works! I’m using it along side ovulation testing strips when it’s indicating I might be ovulating. So far I definitely recommend. It looks pricer but if you factor in all those expensive monitor/hormonal testing strips that come with other brands… it’s really not.

Fantastic purchase.
It was easy to connect and it’s easy to use. The arm band stays up all night even when I move around and the temperatures have been accurate and consistent. It was easy to find the right spot to place it and I haven’t missed a night since I got it. This little device has changed my cycle tracking and made it very easy to understand. The sleep information is debatable because I have an oura ring that I find to be more accurate but the amount of time in bed is usually spot on. The band retains elasticity, it’s comfortable, and for the price I feel like I have already got my moneys worth. If I lost it or broke it I would absolutely buy another one as I plan to use it for years to come for family planning and prevention.

Absolutely useless
You have to wear it overnight every single day for a “baseline” which would be fine if it ever worked. I have worn this stupid thing nonstop for a week and only gotten 2 recordings of my temperature. For the money I spent, it would have been bother cheaper and more accurate to just get a regular thermometer and take my own temperature myself. I got this thinking jt would continously track my temperature, nope! It still requires manually connecting it to view the data, but it never actually collects any data and frequently has connection issues even when it does. It is just an overpriced arm band with a watch battery in it, completely useless and a waste of time and money. Just get a $20 thermometer from the pharmacy and take your temp and measure it manually.

Works well, a bit technical
Great product, the button is a bit hard to find every night and the band stretches out quite quickly, velcro straps might be a better idea than bra-strap clasps…

Great Product
Love love love. It’s so easy to track my BBT. The hardest part is remembering to put it on. I’ve had it for months and I haven’t needed to change the battery yet. The app is easy to use and included. If you want more features you have to pay a monthly fee of $5. I don’t find I need any more features than what I have access to.

Overall I like it, but it does need some improvement.
I’m starting off my review with a confession. I’ve actually had two Temp Drops. The first one was never able to confirm ovulation, although I knew I was ovulating. I got so frustrated after 3 months, I threw it out. But in hindsight, I’m sure it was a band issue. I couldn’t get the band tight enough on my upper arm without making it too small to fit over my elbow. So I was wearing it on my upper arm, but loosely. Maybe if someone else could have put the device on me, but I didn’t have a second person to help me get ready for bed each night. So anyway, a friend recommended I try Temp Drop again, but wear it in my bra. I did! And it worked! I was able to confirm ovulation every month! With that said, I did decide to keep oral temping, tracking cervical mucus, and using OPKs. After 4 months, I like Temp Drop, but it is not as accurate as oral temps. My oral temps always align perfectly with my cervical mucus and OPKs, but Temp Drop tends to be 2 days off from everything else. For instance, if my oral temps, cervical mucus, and OPKs showed ovulation on CD 13, Temp Drop would mark ovulation for CD 15. I consistently experience a 2 day delay in my temp shift with Temp Drop. Honestly, that’s probably just a skin temp thing. After 4 cycles, I’m sure it just is what it is, and oral temping is still the most accurate temping method. Also, 2 days off is still close enough for me. As long as I know to expect the delay, then it’s fine. With that said, I’ll probably keep using OPKs and tracking cervical mucus. I don’t think I can ever rely on Temp Drop alone. But it’s not a bad little device. I even bought a second device to give to a friend.By the way, I am not using this device to TTC. I use it for cycle tracking purposes only. And overall I do really like it, but I did rate it 3 stars. I think the band design isn’t great and temp shift accuracy could be improved. I took off 1 star for each issue.

BUY IT NOW
I am SO glad I bought this. It is completely worth the price. I wish it had been around when I first started using NFP methods 10 years ago. I have never slept well, always waking up multiple times a night, so getting an accurate and consistent BBT has always been nearly impossible for me. This makes it so easy! I also love the sleep tracker and I love how the app has every other fertility tracking sign built in. You can record your temp, cervix, cervical mucus, ovulation tests, and PMS symptoms/libido and energy levels all in one spot. The other apps I have used to track usually make you pay extra for these features.
